Welcome to the Southwest Airlines Showcase at Cedar Crest

The Southwest Airlines Showcase will feature three days of live coverage (1:30 – 4:30 pm CST with primetime replays) on GOLF Channel November 11-13, 2024. This event is open to the public and free to attend! Please join us to cheer on these champions. We’ll have food trucks, giveaways, a cash bar, free parking, and more!

IAMGF believes that the promotion of golf to diverse and historically underserved communities will have an impact beyond the course and into the daily lives of those reached by its initiatives.
Support to date has allowed IAMGF to provide free instructional programs to 900+ area youth, paid internships and first jobs to 115 interns, college scholarships totaling more than $300,000 to participants, more than $1M in direct and advocated capital improvements, and over 450k unique viewers of IAMGF events.

I AM a Golfer Foundation™ Mission

The I AM a Golfer Foundation (IAMGF) was established as a 501(c)3 in 2018 with the mission to be a catalyst for community renewal and transformation in southern Dallas through the Programming, Preservation, and Promotion of the historic Cedar Crest Golf Course.

Since its inception, the I AM a Golfer Foundation has directly engaged more than 900 area youth in instructional programming, created and hosted 115 paid internship positions for area students, and awarded more than $300,000 in college and higher education scholarships.

Additionally, IAMGF has advocated for and assisted with more than $1M in improvements at Cedar Crest and annually conducts the Dallas Amateur Championship, Friends of Cedar Crest Golf Classic, and other events designed to increase awareness of the historic course and community.
